Robert Piaskowski

Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of the City of Krakow for Culture. Graduate of Polish studies and sociology from the Jagiellonian University and Université d'Aix Marseille in Aix-en-Provence, and of cultural diplomacy at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. Scholarship recipient from the US Department of State’s program “Promoting Social Change through Arts.” The initiator and coordinator of many cultural initiatives of international importance, including the festivals Misteria Paschalia, Opera Rara, Sacrum Profanum, Off Camera, Boska Komedia, along with literary festivals devoted to Czesław Miłosz and Joseph Conrad. One of the founders and first presidents of the Pro Musica Mundi Association. Decorated with the Order of Arts and Letters of the French Republic. Cracow citizen of the year 2013 voted by the readers of Dziennik Polski.
